Testimonials

Thank you for a FANTASTIC trip. Chaya is a wonderful guide, I can't fault him!! The trip was incredible. We had great time, learnt so much additional information on Cambodian history and life from him. This has been the start of a wonderful ongoing relationship between ourselves and   Angkor Daily tours,  I will be going on trips with A.D.T in the future.

Mr. / Mrs. Mike & Becky Mann- Traveled to Cambodia

The Angkor Wat complex of temples came alive for me thanks to the well informed explanations and commentary provided by Chaya.  His grasp of the historical and religious narrative was so helpful in placing what I was seeing into an understandable context.  He knows how to help his guests decide what it is they want to see and do and then he makes all the arrangements so that their sight seeing dreams are fulfilled.  Any tour that Chaya is associated with will be outstanding.

Amazing, absolutely incredible from the beginning to the end. Thanks to a committed, informative and warm-heated guide. Having Chaya- a local Khmer guide with obvious passion for his people and the country was inspiring. I went with no expectations and left with memories of a country and people who will always be in my heart.

"We had the pleasure of Chaya's guiding services for 5 days during the month of March 2009 and could not have been more pleased.  He was very knowledgeable about the appointed tourist sites, and his experience enabled us to time our visits so as to avoid crowds.  He was also sensitive to our desire to learn more about Khmer history and culture and went out of his way to show us traditional villages and other sites not on the normal tourist track.  We thoroughly enjoyed his company as well as his expertise, and recommend him highly to future travelers to Cambodia."

We heartily recommend the service of our guide Chaya, who for three days introduced us to the wonders and beauties of his country. He is most eager to impart his wide knowledge of his country’s culture, art, history, and religions. He is a teacher of English and Khmer literature, at the biggest high school in Siem Reap, and thus his communication skills are excellent.

Finally, he serves his community well as a provider for extremely poor school children and villagers in the rural areas. Hence, a unique person.

Mr. / Mrs. Michael Goldman, New York City: Visited Cambodia

"Chaya was recommended by a friend who had visited Siem Reap/Angkor Wat previously.  In short, Chaya's services were excellent -- both as a guide and in organizing the logistics of our visit to Cambodia.  Chaya's detailed knowledge of the history of each structure was impressive, as was his ability to communicate the narrative to us in English.  He also added personal anecdotes that made our visit to Cambodia a lot more poignant than I ever anticipated.  I would highly recommend him as a tour guide for anyone visiting the region!"

Mr. / Mrs. Shannon and Rachel DeRouselle, Florida: Traveled to Cambodia

Chaya was a very sensitive and conscientious guide for us and the other three couples who were traveling with us.  His knowledge of the local history and his excellent command of English made our stay in Angkor an unforgettable experience.  I have recommended him to a group of traveling women who felt the same.
